When Target jumped aboard the interiors train on a serious level and debuted their Threshold line, I scooped up the cute X-Benches above because I knew that for $70, they were a steal and that I could reupholster them in the future if I wanted to move them around.
Serendipitously, I came across a matching runner by Safavieh at Home Goods for a song the following week and decided maybe it was a sign to go with this color that is happy and a little punch of color in our otherwise completely white, gray and black home.
With a plan I headed over to the paint store and picked up a few swatches. I settled on Ben Moore Coral Gables because not only did it match the benches and rugs well [non of them are absolutely exact but it looks like they are] it was the perfect shade of coral. Not pink, not salmon, not orange or red – but that perfect punchy South Florida Coral]
I love how the wall turned out because its not directly visible in the house but located as the back staircase turns and really adds something fun to the space.
*Please forgive me on the slight graininess of these photos, like I mentioned in this post, I’m working with what Pinterest has luckily archived for these few posts!
